Automation
Any Application defined within ActiveWIT records user history, activities and notifications while aggregating attachments.
|
Process
When a work item is activated, it follows the route and participation rules of the Application while tracking user activities.
As users complete activities, the Application automatically moves the work item through the route.
As suspense, completion and activation occurs, notifications are sent to the work item's owner.
Additionally, notification rules may be set on Applications to automatically notify stakeholders when activities or Applications have violated defined conditions.
Many more features are available, please review the documentation on this site for more information.

Inbox
Once having selected or defined an Application that contains activites and templates
necessary to manage cases, work items may be activated against that Application to
automate the case management process. When a work item is activated, those tasks display
to users in the Inbox. The Inbox:
|
- Describes work item
- Describes activity
- Supports custom data collection
- Supports suspense
- Supports document templates and attachments by workflow and specific activity
|
Inbox
Task
When a user selects an inbox item, they are presented with that task. One to
many users may work the same task. When more than one user is required
to work a task, all required users must complete the task before the system
automatically advances to the next activity. When an item is placed in suspense,
information is placed in the tracking system and emails the person that activated
the work item with the status change.
|
Source Documents
Source documents are templates, spreadsheets, completed documents, notes, instructions,
etc. included within an Application's definition. When a work item is activated,
those documents are copied to that individual's instance for that case.
Source documents may be defined for availabilty per Application and/or individual activity.
Attachemnts may be added or selected based on the Application's definition.
|
Attachments
One to many users may attach documents. When specified, users may check out
other user's documents. The user that originally created the document also
has the ability to delete that document. During the process, the work item's
owner may review
documents at anytime.
|
Case
View
As users interact with a work item's activities, a comprehensive case is built.
|
Case View History
Not only is the history accessed from the case view, each user assigned to a task
may select the magnifying glass to view the actions that have occured up to the
current point in time.
|
Case
View Route
At any time, the user that activated the work item may view the Application's route.
|
|
Case
View Participants
User's assigned to the work item may be reviewed as to their status and
disposition. Participants may not be added or deleted on an activated work
item but participants may be reassigned when necessary.
